The clients brief was to create a poolside area for family fun. In discussions their involvement in yachting was mentioned so we picked up a nautical theme in the design.
By building a substantial timber wall near the back boundry, a smaller wall which doubles as a seat and raising the pool it enabled the pool to be positioned lengthwise and created enjoyable patio and lawn spaces at house level.
The diving platform and water feature provides a fun space for the children and parents.
The pool is a Pleasure Pool with a Heat Pump and pool cover hidden under the decking.
